Injection Moulding Setter / Technician

Great opportunity for an experienced Injection Moulding Setter / Technician to join our growing company based in Reading!!! Do you have a background in Manufacturing possibly with a Plastics company? Do you have a mechanical background and experience fixing machines?

Do you have Process control engineering experience? Do you have experience of setting injection moulding machines? Are you happy to work 4 nights a week Monday-Thursday ? If so this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

What our client want from you? A good formal education and qualifications in Injection Moulding Process, Machine operation, Material Process and Machine Maintenance and or extensive manufacturing experience in Injection Moulding and Process management and planning to include the following.

Injection Moulding process and machine operation, Polymer Plastic Material Process, Injection Moulding machine tooling function, process and maintenance, Injection Moulding machine function, process and maintenance. Mould Shop ancillary equipment and machinery processes and maintenance. Ability to write, record and amend Tooling setting sheets and records. Understanding and knowledge of planning tools.


Ability to set tools in machines accurately in a timely and efficient manner to meet productivity expectation and targets and minimise down time of machines. Ability to achieve understand and credibility to communicate at all levels within the organisation. Knowledge and application of Health, Safety and Welfare requirements in all the departments working environment.


Ability and competence to make decisive decisions in connection with the running of the tools and injection moulding machines to ensure delivery of targets and budget requirements.
Understanding and application of the organisations employee handbook, rules and regulations to maintain a disciplined and best practice working environment.
