Manpower is currently recruiting for a Band 5 Coordinator to work for one of our national Clients NHS, within the NICE department.
You will be a key part of the team and ensuring the running of the department is swift and smooth for colleagues and patients.
This vacancy is for a 4 - 6 weeks with the possibility of being extended. Therefore it is essential that you can hit the ground running.
Your main duties will include but are not limited to:
1.Attending conferences/ meetings, taking conference calls and video calls. Ensuring rooms are booked, preparing agendas and paperwork required during the meetings.
2.Coordinating the registration of members of the public, press and external organisations.
3.Providing project management support and developing and operating systems for managing projects, recording activities and tracking progress.
4.Developing and maintaining databases and other records systems.
5.Participate in appropriate training and development activities and encourage and support other staff to develop.
It would be beneficial for the successful candidate to have a sound knowledge regarding the current developments within the NHS, however it is not essential.
It is essential that the successful candidate holds a first degree or a qualification in CAB, CIPFA or CIMA. For the right candidate experience maybe considered rather than qualifications.
It is also essential that the successful candidate has:
*An understanding of a range of work procedures and practices,
*The ability to use all Microsoft packages
*An understanding of the freedom of information act 2000 and Data protection 1998
*Ability to multitask, prioritise, manage multiple projects
*Experience working with Senior Managers and Directors is required for this role.
*Excellent customer service skills and communication skills will be required for this role
*The ability to deal with challenging situations and remain level headed
*Experience of compiling complex documents or reports.
*You will be required to travel to meetings outside of your main location at least 12 times within a year which may also include an overnight stay.
