Warehouse Operative

Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Warehouse operative to join a leading global provider within healthcare and life sciences industry.


Role:

Perform an array of functions that include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking sales and demonstration orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, organising and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

Help the department and company achieve month end targets by making sure all picking lists are actioned and all orders are dispatched to meet customer demand.



Key Duties and Responsibilities:

*Assist shipping and receiving, unloading trucks and checking in deliveries
*Preparing orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area
*Sort and place products or items on racks, shelves or spare parts bins according to organisational standards
*Open pallets, crates and other containers
*Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; Sweep and mop. Organise warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
*Assist with picking loading demo equipment on to vans
*Liaising with staff drivers to help plan deliveries
*Using fork lift truck, pallet trucks and other lifting equipment
*Using barcode scanners to book out/in demonstration equipment

This will be for an initial period of 6 months, with the potential to go permanent.
