South Central Ambulance Service are looking for 111 Non-Emergency Call Handlers to join their team in the contact centre near Otterbourne, Hampshire.

This Contact Centre operates 24/7. This means that we have a variety of shift patterns and times to offer over the course of each day in the week. You will operate on a 6 week rota basis starting that covers that 24/7 operation.

You will be required to work on a 6 on 4 off shift pattern that can consist of 2 early starts, 2 day shifts and 2 night shifts.

You need to be prepared to take non-emergency phone calls that can consist of any non-emergency. You will then need to know what to do to handle and manage the situation and get it resolved whilst on the phone.

You will need to have :

Experience in working in a customer service environment
The ability to commit to a 4-5 week (full-time) in house training programme
