Manpower are recruiting for a Vehicle Technician with a prestige franchise brand based in Portadown.
We are looking for a strong mechanical and diagnostic background on vehicles with a methodical and efficient approach to vehicle repair, preferably with experience in a franchise environment.
What you will be doing
The successful candidate will carry-out mechanical and electrical maintenance and repairs to a range of customer vehicles, using a first time fix approach to achieve customer satisfaction, in addition to warranty work under manufacture guidelines.
You will diagnose vehicle problems using technical equipment and diagnostic tools, determine how long service or repair will take and conduct routine mechanical service on a range of vehicles.
Some of your duties will include general servicing and mechanical repair, MOT prep, fitting or replacing parts and vehicle diagnostics, also liaising with the Service team and Manager on job progress.
What you will need
You will need NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent). Alongside this, you'll have previous work experience in a vehicle workshop environment as a mechanic plus a full, clean driving license.
Experience on vehicle diagnostics and franchise processes is preferable.
Highly competitive salary package is on offer for the successful candidate which will include workshop bonuses bringing your earnings well above your basic salary.
Manufacture training will also be provided.
