A great opportunity has arisen for a Personal Assistant in the Cardiff area within the NHS.

As a PA your role will be to provide a high level, professional and confidential personal assistant to two consultants in public health In the health improvement division covering all aspects of secretarial administrative and organisational support.

The post holder is required to communicate and liaise with directorates, divisions, Welsh government, and various stakeholders and produce work to deadlines whilst ensuring compliance with public health wales policies. The candidate may coordinate and provide support to office functions within Public Health Wales, provide and ensure the provision of appropriate support and advice to administration and clerical staff, senior managers and consultants. The post holder will, therefore, be expected to adopt a flexible approach when the needs of the service require.
Essential

*RSA level III, NVQ level 3 or equivalent level of experience together with a high level of numeracy, written and spoken English
*Good standard of general education
*Experience as a PA or equivalent
*Experience of dealing with confidential and sensitive data and appropriate maintenance and storage of records.
*Minute taking and recording
*Experience of working autonomously
*Planning and organisational skills
*Advanced keyboard skills with the proven ability to produce reports, spreadsheets and correspondence.
*Working knowledge of MS office suite.
*Awareness of policies and procedures relating to dealing with confidential data both personal and organisational
*Thorough understanding of secretarial procedures
*Working knowledge of filing/data systems including records management
*Knowledge of administrative and of organisational procedures, acquired through training and relevant experience
*Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
*Ability to work within a team and on own initiative
*Respect confidentiality and willingness to learn and develop new skills
*Must have project management support experience, or an Administrator with some project management support Or someone who had co-ordinated projects.
The Personal Assistant position comes with a competitive hourly rate for the successful candidate.

Working Hours are Full time (37.5) Monday to Friday and will be assigned for approximately 6 Months.
