Manpower have a Great opportunity to join our national client for whom we look after all their temporary depot requirements on a national basis and are one of the UK's largest home delivery organisations. The role is for an LGV C (HGV 2) Driver operating out of their busy site in Coventry.
Your role will involve:
-Completing delivery drops and collections within your designated geographical area to sub depots and lock ups for the couriers to distribute parcels to the end destination
-Using scanning equipment for both inbound and outbound consignments
-Providing an excellent customer service
-Ensuring all paperwork is completed and all relevant health and safety legislation is adhered to.
You'll be unloading your own vehicle; therefore some manual work will be involved as part of this role. As our client operates seven days a week, you'll need to be flexible in your working hours.
Ideally, you'll have previous experience in performing multi-drop deliveries, and will have a good knowledge of the Midlands area. For insurance purposes you should have no more than 6 points on your licence, and no DD or DR convictions in the last 10 years. Limited Company drivers are welcome (rates of pay vary) along with newly passed drivers.
