Property Sourcer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Property Sourcer. Reporting to the Head of Property Services you will be responsible for sourcing residential properties, ensuring best value and compliant properties. This is a 6 month contract with the possibility of the role becoming permanent. This is a home based role covering the Kent area. The successful applicant will ideally live in the Maidstone/Medway/Canterbury area so will be central to all parts of Kent.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Conduct initial market research and making calls to identify suitable Landlords and Letting Agents
*Undertake initial property inspections to ensure the property meets the requirements of the contract, as well as any specific Local Authority requirements
*Negotiate with Landlord/Letting Agent to ensure the property is provided at best value terms to the company
*Agree and monitor a 'go live' date for the property and ensure that the deadlines are met by the Landlord/Letting Agent
*Conduct final inspection in conjunction with the operational team assuming responsibility for the property and issue any snagging lists as required
*Keep up-to-date with all written and verbal communications (i.e. emails/messages/calls)
*Ensure all records are maintained and kept up-to-date according to company policies and procedures

REQUIRED SKILLS:
*Good communication and interpersonal skills
*Experience within Residential Property Lettings
*Housing marketing knowledge of the Kent area
*Driving licence and a car owner
*Smart professional presentation
*Good computer skills including Microsoft Office Software

Hours: Mon-Fri 40 hours per week 8.30am-5pm
Salary: £21,000 (pro rata for 6 month contract) plus fuel allowance
