Permanent General Assistants required for a school in Oxfordshire. The GA will provide a professional, friendly and efficient service in the provision of meals to the pupils and staff and you will undertake cleaning duties whilst ensuring compliance to the School's policies, 'best practice', and current legislation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
*The setting up of areas prior to service
*Working within a team to provide a smooth service at meal times and the clearing away thereafter
*Assist in the supply of commodities to areas as directed
*Comply with all current Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations and any additional requirements
*Provide assistance to the Catering Manager or department in any area that is suited to your experience or skill set
*Comply in the implantation of all COSHH and HACCP Regulations
*To assist with Boarders Supper at the end of each term, this will be in addition to your normal working pattern
*To attend staff meetings and training as requested
*You may also be asked to undertake tasks in other areas of the kitchen, which may not be part of your job description; it is the reasonable expectation that you would carry out such tasks
*To assist with functions should these fall within your normal working hours, any additional hours, if agreeable, will attract overtime

Terms and Conditions
*Salary: £8,500
*Hours: 24 hours per week
*42 week contract
*Holiday entitlement: 4 weeks paid to be taken during school holiday and as directed by the Catering Manager
