WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE
A Warehouse Operative is sought after a high end global technology giant to work at one of their client sites on a permanent basis. This role would ideally suit an individual looking for long term permanent work with a level of IT skillset.
Job Description
Logistics Team Member
To ensure that all Logistical activities are completed in a timely and accurate fashion within a specified region.
3.2Roles and Responsibilities
*Physical Receipt of goods/services/equipment
*Quarantine of non conforming Material during receipt and acceptance stages
*Storage of Material in normal (bulk and paternoster) and Secure stores
*Issue of Material to internal users and customers including use of third parties (TNT,ISS)
*Stock Control
*Packing and Dispatch of Material
*Delivery and collection of goods, to and from internal sites and Customer sites including MoD Ships/Dockside/Airfields and other military installations using both Courier & driving company vehicles
*Documentation throughout all stages of goods receipt, dispatch and issue
*Transport and Distribution
4REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
4.1Essential
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access & Outlook
Good Communication Skills
Customer Interfacing Skills
Ability to become SC Cleared
4.2Desirable
Previous Logistics experience and FLT qualified (Counter Balance & Narrow Aisle)
Certified in the principles of Manual Handling
Full clean UK driver's licence
