An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a world leading FMCG global organisation, our client is currently looking for a Global Assistant Brand Manager based at their prestigious facility in Blackfriars. This is a full time temporary role for a period of 6 months, working a 36.25 hour week. This role is paying up to £36,876 per annum pro rata, depending on experience.
As an ABM in the global team, you'll play a critical supporting role to the Brand Manager, working on exciting new innovation projects to develop the next stages of the brand's growth. You'll be able to develop an in-depth understanding of brand development and the business environment within Personal Care. The role offers plenty of scope for creativity and independent leadership on smaller projects with clearly ownable deliverables on larger projects. Lipton is one of the world's great refreshment brands with tea-based drinks including leaf tea, infusions, ready-to-drink tea and other healthy, refreshing alternatives to soft drinks.

JOB SUMMARY
*Report into and assist Global Senior Brand Manager on Lipton key platforms.
*Co-Lead future new platform extensions, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exciting, premium innovations
*Work on trend forward innovations and shape the future of the Lipton portfolio
*Lead networks on projects and manage a large global multifunctional project team by working directly with local and regional project leaders
*Support on creation of global asset and passion content with partners
*Support in leveraging brand purpose and shape the USLP agenda of the brand
*Actively manage and co-ordinate the Lipton Brand Community
*Work intensively with our agency partners across proposition and packaging creation
*Control and monitor budgets and the payment processing system
*Build future capability in the team by managing career development of a marketing intern (FTE)
*Lead the integration of gifting portfolio into e-commerce channels by working closely with relevant teams within global organisation and regional project leaders
*responsible for leading and delivering projects as per agreed milestones/timelines to the high quality standards set, from concept phase all the way to and including creative briefing, development & production
*Developing an in-depth understanding and becoming an expert in relevant global projects and consumers - the demographics, market constructs, competition, product features, communication and proposition, business environment and brand proposition, building a holistic understanding of consumers and shoppers
*Assist in the development of consumer insights by working closely with the consumer insight team, advertising agency and other external agencies
*Work with packaging and advertising agencies to brief, design and deliver specific elements of projects and marketing campaigns, be responsible for or work in close collaboration with all areas relating to Artwork
*Driving top line brand growth and achieving brand share & communication targets
*Be able to pitch and present different types of work depending on the audience, strategic thinking and strong global mind-set


KEY REQUIREMENTS
*Degree in Marketing/FMCG experience is preferable
*Experience in successfully managing projects, team leadership (agencies & across functions), and ability to influence stakeholders
*Growth mind-set: the ideal candidate should be motivated and driven, someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can get on board our growth agenda to step up brand communication and innovation
