An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a world leading FMGC global organisation, our client is currently looking for an Student to work in the Supply Chain/Procurement area of the business, based at our client's Manufacturing facility in Seacroft, Leeds. This is a full time temporary role for a period of 6 months, working a 37.5 hour week. This role is paying £17,062.50 pro rata. Starting 12th March.


Main Job Purpose:
Support the Procurement Assistant in charge of Innovations in the Deodorant Category.
At the end of 2018, Unilever Deo Category will launch several major innovations to the market (including new packaging hardware & formulation changes), and the workload will increase significantly from April to Sep 2018. The temporary assistant will support the coordination of new artworks with the 5 can suppliers and the design agency, in addition to tracking capital investment and supporting network delivery of Procurement related tasks.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
*The temporary assistant will attend the key innovations meetings with the supply chain and the PMA
*They will monitor the flow of artworks with the can printers to secure a regular and permanent flow of artworks
*They will provide develop and provide artwork related status reports with the risks & mitigated actions & will be the link with the Supply chain and the can printers to determine the priorities
*They will chase the stakeholders who are late in the process and the network
*They will coordinate the implementation of contracts on time
*They will support in the requests for new capital investments, and requests for payments to suppliers

After this 6 months assignment, they will have a good understanding of the different steps required to launch a product from design to activation from a procurement / supply chain perspective

Required Background and Experience:
*Studying towards a Business / Economics Degree is preferable, but not essential
*Have good analytical skills, combined with a pro-active attitude and necessary communication skills to enable stakeholder decision-making
*Be fully operational in Excel. Must be able to extract, analyse and present data in a clear and understandable approach and format
*Be able to communicate effectively and efficiently with different stakeholders, preferably with previous experience of stakeholder communication
*Be an autonomous, fast & creative problem solver, with the ability to judge when decisions need to be escalated to the line manager
*Have good English language skills (speaking and writing)
