Production Staff Required

Manpower is one of the UK's leading recruitment companies, experts in the world of work. We are working in partnership with a major global brand to recruit staff in the Alfreton area.

We are looking for Production Operatives to join our client on an ongoing temporary basis. This role is guaranteed 38 hours per week, working shifts, days, nights and afternoons and you must be able to commit to all 3 shifts.

OVERALL PURPOSE:

Working in the production teams on various lines and machine to fast, efficient and quality checked production is carried out. The role will also include packing of completed products.

All activities are to be carried out in accordance with the work instructions, quality and health and safety policies and procedures.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

You will be flexible and adaptable with a conscientious and quality approach to all aspects of the work. You must be a team player coupled with an ability to work under your own initiative as and when required.

You will ideally have a proven work history in a production environment with a willingness to learn new skills. This is an excellent opportunity for a long term temporary role which may convert to a permanent contract for the right candidate.

All applicants will have to attend an induction session with our client which will include a English, Maths and packaging assessment and health questionnaire. The pay rate starts at £7.90 per hour increasing after 12 weeks.
