Stores Person

Our client is looking to hire an experienced Stores Person to work in the Stores department at their facility in Middlesbrough.

The purpose of this role is to control issue and receipt of all consumables within our clients stores to ensure that goods inward and stores control systems are maintained.

Duties will include

Checking incoming deliveries for compliance against order items
Signing off delivery notes once good inward inspections have been completed.
Recording which items are stored where.
Arranging stores areas in-conjunction with the Materials Controller/ Stores Supervisor.
Reporting non conforming items.
Goods Inward inspection for general items of stock.
Assisting with stock takes.
Assisting with daily Stores duties.

To be considered for this role you will

Have a proven track record of working in an engineering stores environment
Be computer literate with experience in particular of Microsoft systems and Sage.
Hold a current Forklift Truck Licence
Be meticulous when it comes to records and reports.
