We are currently recruiting for a trainee mounter proofer for our client based in Grimsby.
The role comprises of measuring and and fitting of pre-print Flexo plates on to corrugated printing cylinders.
The role requires a high level of attention to detail as well as a steady hand, as you will be required to measure, cut and lay tape on to the flexo printing plate.
You most show great attention to detail and care at all times as you will be required to use a variety of different equipment including knives during the role.
Specific mounter-proofing experience is not required as full training will be given to the successful candidates, however experience in a production/manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
The days of work are undertaken on a 5 - 2 shift pattern comprising of working Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday on the first week and Wednesday and Thursday on the second.
You will be required to alternate between days and nights every two weeks, with hours of work between 0545 to 1800 on days and 1745 to 0600 on nights.
The successful candidate will receive full training for the role with the hourly pay rate starting at £7.50 p/h and increasing to £11 per hour on completion of training.
