2nd Line Engineer - 12 Month Contract

An exciting opportunity for a 2nd Line Engineer.

Performing nightly migration events with the delivery teams, you will ensure readiness for the evening migration events and work to a clear set of instructions.

You will drive process improvement and streamline activities where applicable whilst ensuring all migration workstreams, key stakeholders and external vendors complete their relevant tasks prior to migrations, questioning any discrepancies.

Duties/ Responsibilities:
*Carry out pre-migration and final migration / cutover checks
*Maintain audit trails of all migration events , providing logs and evidence for reporting purposes
*Ensure pre-migration checklists are complete as a pre-requisite for migration commencement
*Ensure interdependencies are raised quickly and addressed from an operational perspective
*Communicating the migration status in preparation for migration activities
*Responding to customer generated incidents/change requests, resolving any problems that occur
*Meet required service level agreements
*Act as a point of contact within the team for other support teams and the end user.

You should have the ability to collaborate with teams across the organization and be able to adapt to dynamic project timelines.

Ideally you will have experience in the following - MOSS; GFS; HPRM; Meridio; SPOL; Robocopy.

The ideal candidate will be able to drive teams and people to complete work on time and be a self-motivated, logical thinker.

Please note the successful candidate must have or be able to obtain SC security clearance.
