Mechanical Fitter

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter to join our client, a well-established engineering manufacturer in Leeds who supply to the oil and gas industry. This is a temporary, ongoing role for a minimum of 3 months.

Due to the increase in workload the business now requires a Mechanical Fitter who has a team orientated approach to work joining this busy department.

As a Mechanical Fitter your role will involve a variety of pipework and preparing and setting up company products ready for testing. You must be able to read ISO drawings and complete the associated paperwork. Good all-round mechanical assembly skills will be required and you must be comfortable with spanner work.

Ideally, you'll be apprentice trained and qualified to City & Guilds or equivalent as a Mechanical Fitter with proof of qualifications and will have previously worked in a similar position.
