Development Surveyor

Manpower is partnering with a leading land development consultancy in their search for a Development Surveyor. Based across the Yorkshire and North East region, the Development Surveyor will play a key role in identifying suitable land development opportunities for a range of markets such as energy and property.

The business has an outstanding reputation in the marketplace, and they partner with some of the UK's leading names to provide design, development and consultancy advice.

As Development Surveyor, your key challenges will include;
*Identifying suitable plots for land development
*Conducting thorough research in order to secure new projects for development
*Coordinating relevant studies and consultations regarding land development
*Executing strategies for negotiation to secure new projects
*Liaising with a range of key stakeholders such as local authorities, communities and owners

This dynamic role will suit an individual that possesses the following skills and experience;
*Degree educated within Town Planning (or similar relevant)
*Some post-graduation experience within a Surveying role
*Experience of coordinating land development projects
*Able to travel extensively through Yorkshire and North East as required
*UK driving licence

As this is a regional role, you will be primarily home-office based when not travelling to meetings, and it is required that you visit the head office near to Newcastle at least once per week.
