Social Care Coordinator

Manpower is currently recruiting for 4 Co-Ordinators to assist in providing a consistent and centralised point within the Contact, Assessment & Intervention Team (C,A&I), based in Crawley within West Sussex County Council's Childrens Services. These are full time temporary roles starting as soon as possible.

You will be a member of an intervention team with responsibility for gathering information to inform decisions about threshold into Children's social care, or signposting to other relevant services and therefore will ensure that practice is compliant with statutory responsibilities, your role will provide support to teams of Social Workers and provide information to the public and professionals about the services and support that are available in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to communicate across a wide range of different levels of discipline along with sound and accurate ICT and keyboard skills. You will also require the ability to demonstrate an understanding of risk and recommend appropriate course of action, and the ability to work in a multiagency environment to deliver a service to those people who access or need the service.
