IT Support Engineer

Manpower are looking to recruit a 1st/2nd Line Support Engineer within IT and Business Change. You will be working for a new to market Financial Services client based in Birchwood, Warrington. It is a really exciting time to join their team as they have substantial growth plans throughout 2018!

Your new role will involve assisting the IT Operations Manager with the development, maintenance and monitoring of the Company's IT Infrastructure, ensuring it performs as required by the business and remains secure.

Network uptime and hardware continuity is a key component of this role. The role will also help the existing IT team in providing first and second line support to their staff.

To be successful you will have a flexible approach to working hours, be able to drive and own a vehicle. You will also be able to work as part of a team, or alone on projects and must be a self-motivated, technology and solution focused individual.

Your initial focus will be completion of a planned office move. This will primarily involve the set up of a new Cloud based telephony system, ensuring a seamless transition from one office to another with no down time.

Other Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

*Responding to incoming calls in accordance with priorities and agreed service levels
* Provide excellent customer service to IT users
*Produce regular reports and commentary around service delivery for Service Review Meetings and KPI monitoring.
*Maintain the IT asset database to ensure consistency, accuracy and accountability
*Manage and maintain the GCC mobile fleet, including ordering, bill analysis, cost control via the EMM portal


You will also have working experience of the following Networks, Operating Systems, and Programmes:


*Windows Server 2012
*Microsoft Windows 10
*Active Directory and Group Policy administration and deployment
*Networking - LAN / WAN / TCP-IP / DNS / DHCP / VPN
*VMWare
*VoIP Telephony systems experience
*Office 2016/365
*Manage Engine Service Desk/Desktop Central experience
*Microsoft Desktop Optimization setup and deployment
*Azure AD administration
*Azure Intune MDM

In addition you will be able to demonstrate:

*The ability to handle the pressures of simultaneously co-coordinating a wide range of activities and recommend appropriate solutions when needed.
*Create and maintain business relationships and understand business needs
*Experience of Finance services, Consumer Credit and/or Car Industry and/or a technology environment is desirable
*Very good communication skills
*Able to work under pressure
*Self-starter, whilst training is provided; need to be able to hit the ground at least walking if not running.
*Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
*Good time management and organisational skills
*A couple of years' previous relevant experience, looking to take the next step up the technology support ladder.

This role is initially offered on a 3 month fixed term basis, with the likelihood of a Permanent position for the right candidate.
