Electrical Maintenance Technician

Our client is one of the UK's flagship research centres for Wave & Tidal energy and offshore wind. They now have a requirement for an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their existing team in Northumberland. This Fantastic opportunity will be a 6 month fixed term contract.

Duties will include:
- Fault-finding and general maintenance of heavy machinery and plant
- Working across multiple signalling, LV and HV electrical systems carrying out installations, refurbishments, upgrades and maintenance
- Supporting operational maintenance activities including all team members in the planning, co-ordination, operation and installation of all required elements for planned or unplanned activities within all the facilities and assets
- Supervise service and maintenance contractor activities as necessary

Required qualifications:
- ONC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
- 17th Edition

Desirable qualifications:
- Overhead crane certificate
- Forklift truck licence
