About the role

As a Customer Service Advisor, you'll deal with incoming contacts from our business customers who need help with their business broadband and telephone service, which could mean using our diagnostic systems to test and resolve a fault yourself, making arrangements for an engineer appointment, helping the customer with their connection or email, or even working through a billing question they might have.

Using your natural ability to build rapport with customers, you'll be curious about our customers business, and will identify opportunities to offer business products and services that may interest them. You'll be brave enough to take ownership for problems when they occur; and you'll be accountable for providing brilliant service, by understanding that each customer is different.

Who we're looking for

We're looking for individuals who can have great conversations with our customers and who have a professional, can-do attitude with excellent keyboard, PC, data input skills and systems knowledge. You'll be a great team player, that's focused on personal performance improvements, and is driven to minimise any negative impacts on our customers and their business through ownership, driving suppliers and keeping the customer informed.

Not only will you be joining an ambitious organisation with a welcoming and collaborative culture, but you'll also receive first class training and development. You'll quickly get to know our products and services inside out, the systems we use and what you need to do to resolve our customers' issues and queries. Added to this, there are opportunities within Dundee and across the organisation to develop your career and we'll work with you to make sure you have support, coaching and learning opportunities.

As for benefits, on top of the competitive salary, you'll also receive up to 30 days annual leave, you will receive a full contract of employment, access to internal training tools and ongoing coaching and support with potential opportunities to advance your career, furthermore as a valued employee, you'll also qualify for a wide range of high street discounts.

There will also be plenty of opportunities to give back to your local community by taking part in our volunteering events, including locally supported charity events. Or you could even organise your own.
