An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Brand Manager to join a world leading global organisation who are currently looking for an experienced person to work in the Laundry category, based at the at a prestigious facility in Leatherhead. This is a full time temporary role for a period of 12 months (Maternity cover) working a 36.5 hour week. This role is paying up to a maximum of £52,000 pro rata, depending on experience (Maximum hourly rate is £27.59 PAYE or Ltd Day rate is maximum of £259)

We are seeking a Senior Brand Manager for a pivotal role in the UKI business. Responsible for Persil you will manage the UKI's largest brand (Turnover) which also has the no.1 market share in a category that is bought by 91% of the population (Fabric Cleaning). - Marketing Strategy & Business Plan Responsibility for Persil Brand UKI
o Deliver strategic vision for Persil UKI - Role for Consumer, Customer & Unilever
o Based on Marketing Integrated Business Planning process, own Persil annual plan Responsibility for innovation funnel for Persil UKI, ensuring projects progress OTIF
o C4G mentality and projects

- Marketing Excellence/Outstanding execution:
o Brand Strategic Plan, Consumer Segmentation & Pen portraits, 5C Strategy incl. connected consumer journey with strong digital strategy.
o Responsible for best in class activations in UKI. Full communication mix (ATL/BTL/Instore) lead on media plans, agency relationships and customer executions strategies with CAMS & shopper marketing.

- Performance Responsibility for Persil Brand UKI
o P&L: Full grip on P&L drivers from Vol to PBO and create necessary actions to deliver targets by leveraging vol, price and mix drivers across formats and customers, via TVM and AMEX.
o Share: Full grip on drivers of share performance and necessary actions by leveraging 6p actions for total Persil across brand format and by customer.
o Key Performance Metrics: Full grip on all KPI metrics (Pen/Freq/VPT/Price/Brand Equity/Brand Health) to drive necessary actions by leveraging 6p actions for total Persil across brand format and by customer.

Key Skills

1. Outstanding bias for action & a resilient team leader/influencer - Building strong relationships within the marketing team & across functions with Marketing, SC CD, finance, R&D etc. and championing a C4G mindset. You will have 3 direct reports
2. A strong commercial business mind-set - ability to deliver on a P&L by optimising all drivers across multiple customers and formats.
3. A holistic marketing skill set, with as much passion for brand equity and consumer engagement as financials with a competitive mindset to ensure we outperform PL and P&G brands. A strong creative judgment and passion for delivering award winning execution with latest technologies as well as mass media.

* 4 - 10 years marketing experience.

* Candidates will have strong experience in brand building, passionate about business grip with fluent P&L management skills

* Candidates will have strong experience in local market activation to build brands including lead on agency relationships and lead on engagement with retailers.

* Experience of fast pace, competitive environment with high demands. A hands on doer, who gets things done and can manage multiple projects and priorities.
