An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation, our Global FMCG Client Unilever, are currently seeking a Senior Global Brand Manager (Digital Communications) for their Simple skincare brand, based at their global HQ in Blackfriars. This is a full time temporary role for a period of 12 months, working a 36.25 hour week. This role is paying up to £62,000 per annum.

Since Simple was acquired from Alberto Culver in 2011, it has grown from strength to strength. The successful candidate will create a future facing, purpose-led core portfolio aiming primarily at maintaining our competitive edge on cleansers, facial wipes and make up removers, whilst resetting the basic moisturisers portfolio.

Key success measures
Strategic, competitive, margin accretive and innovative Core innovation programme, with high buy in from all countries & a significant step up in purpose led activities.
Support the Director in building competitive edge on our core claims

Main accountabilities
Lead Core and Future core innovation agenda
Drive the reset of the Brand Book and all masterbrand core armoury and design vision.
Brand stewardship and develop face care expertise within the new community members.

Experience required:
Significant digital communications experience
Brand Development or local Brand Building experience in Beauty is essential for this role
Strong entrepreneurial drive
Genuine curiosity for Beauty : external environment, be it from prestige, fashion, make up and of course competition in face care.
A pragmatic decision maker, not afraid of taking risks, challenge constructively and take responsibility.
An active listener, rigorous strategic thinker with ability to focus and prioritize.
Consumer & customer focus
A Confident yet flexible leader, demonstrating strong influencing skills given wide spectrum of key stakeholders (from the most junior for the day to day, to more senior VP levels at key decision points)
Passion for Beauty and attention to detail is a must.
