Payroll Administrator - Gloucester
Salary £10-£15 per hour
Fix term contract 3-6 months
A great company is looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator, to assist the Payroll Specialists in ensuring employees are paid correctly, and on time. This is an excellent opportunity to make an impact in a short-period of time. If you have gained significant expertise in payroll processes, understand HMRC Taxation and pension regulations, and thrive in fast-paced, changing environments, we would like to hear from you!
Main responsibilities:
The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for:
*Assisting with the processing of monthly payrolls from start to finish, including starters & leavers, sickness, overtime, maternity pay, pension contributions and change of personal details
*Processing payment documentation for new starters/leavers, including issuing P45s
*Investigating and answering employee's queries
*Implementation of payroll procedures on the payroll system
*Providing accurate pay slips to employees
*Assisting with End of year compliance (P35s, P60s, etc)
*Other tasks and duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
*Previous experience working in payroll is essential
*Good level of education
*Capable of managing data in a timely manner with outstanding levels of accuracy
*Ability to work under periods of pressure, as part of a team
*Strong interpersonal skills and customer-facing skills
*Outstanding time management and organisation skills
*Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English
*Sound knowledge of MS office applications and preferably advanced Excel skills
