Business Development Manager

In return our client will pay you a basic salary between 28k-33k plus commission (OTE 50K Uncapped) you will also get the opportunity to work for a national company in a fast moving industry! Other benefits will include company mobile phone and a Company Car/ Car Allowance.

What you must have: direct sales experience selling office equipment or working in a similar industry you must also be able to demonstrate growth and consistent sales figures.

The role, you will be given a number of new business opportunities to develop and build, however you will be targeted on proactively seeking and securing profitable new business opportunities on a monthly basis.

You will be expected to go business to business canvassing as an individual and as part of the team, and also spend time in the office telephone canvassing, to make your own appointments. On a weekly basis you will have a one to one with your Line Manager and go through your weekly activity sheet with your call rates, leads, quotes, prospect list, and general activity.

You will be responsible to keep the ACT database of your area up to date, by inputting the details you obtain from telephoning and appointments, which will allow you to set reminders and target mail-outs. Upon a successful sale you will be responsible to demonstrate the product on-site to the customer and look after and develop the account.
You will be responsible for creating quotations, which will be typed, and accurately complete lease and company documentation.
