Deep Hole Borer

Manpower is currently recruiting for a deep hole boring engineer or trainee deep hole borer to join our client in Leighton Buzzard. Experience of deep hole boring would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided

Experience Required;

*Experience of horizontal boring is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
*Being familiar with Tibo & VDF machinery would be an advantage but again not essential.
*Being familiar with Mollart & Sandvik tooling would be an advantage.
*It is essential that you have worked within a machine shop environment with knowledge of machining processes and lifting equipment.
*Experience in using gauging and measurement equipment required for verification including Bore Micrometers (Bowers / Diatest) would be preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
*Have a hands-on, quality driven, positive, self-motivated manner in order to be able to hit the ground running.


Package and Benefits:
*Salary depending on previous experience, (plus shift allowance of time plus a third if working on night shift)
*The position is full-time and permanent.
*The hours will be either be days or nights or on a 2 weeks Rota basis;
Days Monday - Friday 8am-5pm
Nights Monday - Thursday 4.30pm - 3.30am
*Holidays are 20 days + 8 Bank Holidays + Bonus holiday over the Christmas Period
