Manpower is currently recruiting for a Gun drill Trainee Engineer to join our client in Leighton Buzzard. Experience of deep hole boring would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
Experience Required;
*Good with math's / numbers / fractions.
*Experience of Gundrilling is preferred but not essential, as full training will be given.
*Being familiar with Mollart & Hammonds gundrills & BTA tooling would be an advantage but again not essential.
*A strong desire to become a competent Gundrilling engineer.
*Potential to be able to acquire new skills quickly, become an irreplaceable asset for our company.
*A hands-on approach
*Motivated and able to work under own initiative
*Be able to communicate clearly
*Experienced in using gauging and measurement equipment required for verification including Bore Micrometers (Bowers / Diatest) would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given.
*Have a hands-on, quality driven, positive, self-motivated manner in order to be able to hit the ground running

*Salary depending on previous engineering experience
*The position is full-time and permanent.
*The hours will be;
DaysMonday - Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm
*Holidays are 20 days + 8 Bank Holidays + Bonus holiday over the Christmas Period
