Energy Executive
The main duties and responsibilities of an Energy Executive with our client are including but not limited to;
To cold call potential customers to prospect for new business
To promote and present appropriately to our customers in order to make a sale
To maintain and develop relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails
To respond to incoming email and phone enquiries
To act as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets
To gather market and customer information
To deal with any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy
To advise on existing and future services and products we offer, discussing special promotions
Ensure all sales and order information are accurately recorded
To review your own sales performance, aiming to meet and exceed your KPI targets
To represent the business in an exemplary fashion
To feed sales trends back to the line manager
To attend team meetings and share best practice with colleagues
When requested, to assist in representing the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
To positively approach sales opportunities to maximise sales revenue to meet and exceed the departmental targets
To adhere to and promote the Company Mission Statement and Core Values
To report any potential losses for the business to the department manager.
To support the departmental manager with the ongoing development of new team members
To attend training when required
To ensure on all occasions, you observe safe working practices in order to satisfy Health and Safety at Work, Fire Procedures and other Statutory Legislation
Experience / Qualifications
Previous experience in telecoms, sales, renewable energy or b2b energy sales
Previous experience in a target driven pressurized sales environment
Knowledge of Energy Efficient/Renewable Technologies
Further Education (A-Levels or equivalent in a Business-Related Topic)
4 x GCSE's - Grade A - C
Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
Excellent Customer Service Skills
Outstanding Communication Skills
Good computer skills
Adaptable to change within the business
Ability and desire to learn new sales techniques
Ability to work as part of a team or on an individual basis
Willingness to develop in-line with continuing professional development
