Handyman

Job Summary
This national heritage institution is currently looking for a handyman preferably with some plumbing skills in the Hatfield area for a college on a minimum 2-3 month contract with a potential to go permanent.

The job role
The position involves light basic repairs; with plumbing, mechanical and electrical skills in requirement. You will be in a team of 5 so you will not be on your own but will have to use your own initiative where possible.

The skills
Due to the adverse weather conditions there is plenty to do on this 400+ acre site.
You must be physically fit for the job with basic repair skills.
You will have a Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning understanding, able to repair lighting fixtures along with the now frozen pipes hence the necessary plumbing skills.

We are expecting you to work well on your own and be a team player, again why the communication skills must be high.

Contract position, starting ASAP
Rate: £10-£11 per hour
Shifts: 35 hour working week with a potential for OT
