Manpower are looking for a Procurement Assistant to join the team at their prestigious client site based Whitchurch, Bristol.
You will contribute significantly in achieving the strategic goals of the business unit by identifying and updating key data on the ERP system to improve the collation and availability of key customs data for the products used in the manufacture of our machines.
You will work with colleagues throughout the business and with suppliers to achieve the best possible result.
Your main duties:
► Liaise with Suppliers to identify key data required for the products they supply
► Update The ERP system with the data collected
► Produce progress reports
► Identify and escalate problems to the relevant Buyer/Purchasing Manager
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
► Must have good general IT skills including Microsoft Office
► Ability to interact with Colleagues and Suppliers of all levels to achieve goals
► Self-motivating
► Good Telephone Manner
► High level of accuracy
