Role is working for Manpower on assignment at RBS as Fraud Officer.

The role is telephony based, in a fast-paced and vibrant Customer Contact Centre. You will be joining one of our specialist telephony teams within Financial Crime unit. The purpose of the role as Fraud Officer is to protect and support customers who have been victims of fraud. Your aim will be to provide an excellent customer experience on every call and take ownership of the customer's query to ensure a fair outcome is delivered.
To be successful in this role you will be able to
*Excellent customer service skills and a drive to deliver excellent service on every call.
*The ability to engage the customer and be confident in supporting the customer in potentially distressing circumstances.
*Excellent listening skills and awareness, to identify suspicious callers and ensure Fraud is prevented. Organisational and time keeping skills with the ability to work well as part of a team.
*In and out bound calling Flexibility to cover multiple roles at peak times
*Good computer skills and the ability to operate effectively between several systems simultaneously.
*The ability to follow correct procedures to comply with internal and external testing and quality monitoring.
Additional Information:
There will be excellent training programme which will give you all the skills and confidence you need to provide an excellent service for our customers and deal with suspicious callers.
After training, a set shift pattern will be allocated. If your set shift pattern involves working after 8pm, you will be eligible for a shift allowance. For example, anybody working a 3pm to 11pm shift, 5 days week, would be rewarded with an extra uplift in pay 10% from 8pm till 10pm and 25% from 10pm till 11pm
35 hrs per week could include at least one day of weekend working. The centre is open from 7am till 23.00, 7 days a week however this role working pattern will be between the hours of 12pm till 23.00 Monday -Sunday. Training will be for 5 weeks with flexibility required as will involve weekend working.
1st week of training will be Mon-Fri 09:00-17:00
