Semi Skilled Engineer

Manpower have a full time vacancy for a Semi Skilled Engineer to work for an established Precision Engineering company who design and manufacture products for a variety of sectors.

This is a full time role.

Hours of work are:

Mon - Thu 7.00 am - 5.00 pm and Fri 7.00 am - 1.00 pm.

Job purpose:

To assist trained engineers in a wide variety of skills including machining, metal spinning, laser cutting, galvanising and welding.

Duties are varied and may include:

Running different machines including lathes and punch
Using different welding techniques
Metal fabrication including bending and cutting
Assembly work
Metal coating
Maintaining a clean and safe workshop
Using hand and power tools

Skills required

Engineering knowledge
NVQ or equivalent in a relevant mechanical / engineering field is desirable but not essential
