A worldwide manufacturing company is looking for a Project Manager who will be responsible for the delivery of all projects nominated to them by the Programme Manager or delegate;
The primary point of contact for all stakeholders supping the project;
Accountable for leading his/her team in an appropriate and professional manner;
Responsible for delivering their projects to time, cost, quality against an authorised margin and budget;
Responsible for ensuring all administrative requirements associated with management of their projects are completed in a timely and correct manner;
Responsible for management of the customer relationship during delivery;
Responsible for identifying/supporting development/growth to meet the business requirements


As Project Manager, share in the teams collective key performance targets ensuring that you play your part meeting your performance commitments;
Management to ensure all data/review packs within your platform project area are comprehensively and accurately completed and available in the required timescales to support the monthly Project Reviews, Programme Board Reviews (and any Customer Reviews should they be required). Key Status identifiers should be fully completed and relevant.
Manage project risks as required by the Risk Management Strategy
Understand Risks and ensure financial implications are understood.
Opportunity Management:
As a Project Manager, develop and assist the Sales team to secure future business opportunities - to include identification, monitoring, analysis and supporting the delivery of compliant, cost-effective proposals promoting brand loyalty.
Manage the projects with the appropriate level of cost control ensuring all financial commitments are clear and understood. Financial commitments is defined as: Cash-in/cash out (cash negative instances should be immediately highlighted to the programme manager), 'actuals to date', Forecast Cost to Completion (FCAC), Accruals, current Margin, out-turn margin.
Forecast resource requirements ensuring that staff are suitably tasked/competent to carry out the work required work.
Configuration and Change control:
Manage the projects applying the appropriate level of Configuration Management and Change Control across the whole project as mandated (including Contract Amendment requirements).
Documentation Control of 3rd Party Information:
Preparation, configuration control, review and authorisation of project documentation procedures;
Performance and Development Management:
Undertake responsibilities for allocated staff (jointly agreed with the Prog Mgr), thereafter ensuring training, development and motivation to facilitate performance to the desired standards.
Commercial:
Ensure all work being undertaken falls within the constraints and Terms and Conditions of the Contract.
Ensure the Corporate Governance, Compliance and Quality requirements are adhered to.

Accountable and responsible for:
Proactive project management of all projects, problems issues, risks to ensure delivery to time, cost and quality;
Operate a 'no surprises' culture for delivery of projects.
Compilation of project estimate and management of the project to delivery within the estimate delivering expected project margin;
Forecasting FCAC on tasks to delivery;
Generation and development of delivery schedule iaw a standard project management 'V' cycle for all projects;
Generation of Project Initiation Plan (PID)/Project Management Plan(PMP);
Risk Management of project, management of mitigations;
Management of internal and external Suppliers, Stakeholders;
Management of Sales Orders, Purchasing Orders, Payment Milestones, Invoices;
Generation of LTE after each project;
Ensuring that the solution matches the defined requirement and we do not have an over-engineered solution;
Co-ordination of project Launch Meeting and progress meetings;
Identification of the resource requirements for each project;
Configuration control of documents;
Leading and motivating all of the team to successful delivery;
Investigating more efficient ways to deliver the project;
