An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a world leading FMCG global organisation, our client are currently looking for a Demand Planner, based at our clients prestigious facility in Leatherhead. This is a full time temporary role for a period of 6 months, working a 36.25 hour week, paying up to £37050 per annum, depending on experience.

MAIN JOB PURPOSE:

Our client's International division is a fast growing area responsible for global imports, exports, seeding and business waste clearance. It partners local operating companies in growing tail brands and new opportunities in agreed markets and channels. This is a highly dynamic environment with a heavy emphasis on managing fast paced global customer channels.

The role is primarily responsible for leading the demand planning process in both for European business and supporting other clusters / global regions across all categories. Spanning across more than 2000 SKUs, specific responsibilities include leading the S&OP cycle, supporting innovation planning process, and rolling out key software packages to support overall demand planning, including KPI measurements.

Responsibilities:
-Manage and own the demand planning execution for the international, Europe Division, including cross-cluster demand signal to Asia, USA and Africa.
-Review, challenge and build volume and value 12 month forward forecast in line with S&OP process, aligned with distributor forecast.
-Manage short term tactical opportunities from all areas of planning
-Support innovation and supply planner on all areas of UI planning, focusing on building a smooth cost-effective value chain meeting both International markets and overall supply chain.
-Drive improvements in demand planning process including system solutions and rollouts.
-Links with Europe category teams and key driver of innovation capacity process (MEP).

Accountabilities:
-Direct influence on business performance including top and bottom line.
-Forecast bias, accuracy, obsoletes and driving clearance of slow moving stock with sales.
-Adherence to S&OP process.
-Annual planning. Input of volumes and reconciliation versus target.
-Set up and management of delivery lanes from Factory Unit.
-APO Master Data owner

ESSENTIAL
*Bachelor's degree in engineering or supply chain.

PREFERRED
*Candidates with APICS certification.

ESSENTIAL
*5+ years' experience in Supply Chain
*Candidates with SAP APO experience
*Strong analytical skills
*Strong Interpersonal skills, including presenting and communicating with senior stakeholders

PREFERRED
*2+ years demand planning experience
*Understanding of export/import requirements
