Description

An exciting new opportunity has become available for a Credit Management Assistant.
Reporting to the Credit Manager, you will be responsible for credit checking prospective customers and ensuring sufficient credit cover for existing customers in a fast paced, busy credit department.

Requirements

Some of your core duties and responsibilities are outlined below;
*Running credit checks for potential customers using internet based systems
*Ongoing credit reviews of existing customers; when credit limit is due to expire, or credit held does not cover the customers' usage, and where adverse information is received.
*Dealing with company name changes, ensuring paperwork completed with correct legal entity.
*Requesting bond payments from customers where sufficient credit cover cannot be obtained.
*Sending letters/e-mails to customers and colleagues.
*Spooling invoices, printing and processing through the mailing machine.
*Filing/scanning reports and related paperwork.
*Ordering stationary for the company.
*Answering the telephone and dealing with general Credit queries.
*Compliance with our Business Conduct Guidelines and other Group Policies
*Any other duties as may be reasonably required.
To be successful, our expectations are that you have;
*A good standard of education with a passing grade or equivalent in English and Maths.
*Experience working within an office environment essential, preferably within a Credit/Accounts department.
*Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages - Word, Outlook and Excel.
*Great accuracy and attention to detail
*The ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
*A methodical approach to your workload with ability to organise and prioritise.
*Good communication skills with professional and confident telephone manner.
