This full time role is highly rewarding and offers a competitive salary starting from £8.53 per hour with a guaranteed payrise after 12 weeks. You will also benefit from free parking on site at Winchester, an excellent fully stocked canteen and free 999 uniform. You will receive 28 days paid holiday increasing to 35 days after 12 weeks and a 25% pay enhancement for any shifts worked from 7pm - 7am and weekends.

To be successful as a 999 Emergency Call Handler, you will have good judgement and be able to make informed decisions as you need to discover the severity of calls and provide appropriate support over the phone to the customer. This will include providing first aid information, dispatching ambulances and passing on information to relevant services.

Having some previous experience as a Customer Service Advisor would be an advantage, but as full training is provided you only need a good telephone manner and a willingness to learn. In this role you will have 4-weeks of class room training and a further 8-week on the job support programme. Following the training you will also receive a 25% pay increase for shifts worked from 7pm - 7am and weekends.
