Manpower are currently recruiting for a compliance engineer to join our client based on the outskirts of Ipswich in their engineering division. You will be joining at a great time as they look to expand their team. This is a minimum 12 month contract and would be temp to perm for the right person. Starting salary is £25 - 35K DOE
Our client is a well-established business and manufacture all their hand crafted furnishings onsite.
Your main role will be to ensure that all onsite system are both internally and externally safe and compliant and meetings regulatory standards. You will be working with various onsite managers and staff in implement and maintain high standards are being adhered to and improved. You will also be monitoring new product development and ensuring they match the requirements needed.
- Establish and implement test procedures/equipment to confirm compliance
- Conducting compliance and quality release tests.
- Interpretation of appropriate technical standards and communication to design team.
- Completion of product technical records and documentation.
- Supporting the quality and manufacturing teams to ensure manufacturing and quality control plans continued compliance
Skills Required:
- Previous experience in a quality, testing or compliance role.
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office.
- Great communicator both written and verbally
- Ability to lead by example and manage small teams
- High attention to details
Qualifications Preferred:
* Bachelor's degree in an engineering, science or technology related discipline
