HGV Technician Day shift

Job Title:HGV Technician (Day Shift)

I am looking for a HGV Technician to work for a flagship commercial company. You will work for a company who really looks after their employees with great benefits and schemes.

Tasks and responsibilities:

*Ensure all repairs are carried out according to the manufacturers procedures
*Assist in fault diagnosis
*Comply with warranty procedures during repairs
*Work with the part team to ensure the correct replacement parts are fitted to the vehicles
*Road test vehicles when required
*Assist with roadside breakdowns
*Ensure service sheets are completed
*Ensure all vehicle defects are reported

My client is asking that you meet the below requirements:

*Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
*City and guilds NCQ or equivalent
*Completed an apprentice in HGV industry or equivalent experience
*Experience within commercial vehicle industry

The hours of work and rate of pay are listed below:
45hr week - 06.00-14.30 and 13.30-22.00 with alternating Sat's 06.00-12 at time and a half

Pay;

*£13.00 basic and £19.50 overtime rate above 45 hrs and Sat mornings
*40 hour basic week = £30,420 + £3042 alternating Sat mornings = £33,462
*Overtime at £19.50/£26.00 also available above 40 hours in the week
*Standby: £15 per night Mon-Fri, £25 Sat & Sun
*Call Out: £25.00 + pay for hours worked on call out at either x1.5 or x2 dependent on day

Salary: £30,420 OTE £33,462+
