You will have good judgement and are able to make informed decisions as you'll need to discern the severity of calls and provide appropriate support over the phone. This will include providing first aid information, dispatching ambulances and passing on information to relevant services. The ideal candidate will need a minimum of 2 GCSE's (or equivalent) in Maths and English.

Not only is this work highly rewarding, but you'll receive a competitive salary starting from £8.53 per hour. You'll also benefit from 27 days holiday per annum (based on full-time hours) plus 8 bank holidays, an NHS pension or NEST scheme and number of great high street discounts with brands such as Nandos and Dominos. Working within the NHS may also entitle you to apply for a Key Worker Housing scheme.

On offer is 4-weeks of training and a further 8-week support programme. You must be available to attend training from 8.30am - 4.30pm or 5.00pm - 1.00am Monday - Friday for the initial 4 weeks. Once you've completed your training you will also receive a 25% pay increase for shifts worked from 7pm - 7am and weekends.

The site in Bicester is operational 24/7, 365 days a year, so applicants will need to be flexible to cover a new rota every 4 weeks. This will include 8, 10 and 12 hour shifts, days, nights and weekends.
