As a Field Service Advisor, you'll be the face of a leading Energy Company on our customer's doorstep, visiting our residential and commercial premises on a daily basis to obtain gas and electricity readings from their meters, inspect meter connections, accurately capture data and provide on-site customer service. While you're there, you'll also book appointments for customers to have their Smart meters installed, providing information and advice on Smart where needed.
You'll play a key role in helping customers control the energy they use and will talk to customers about our exciting new products and services which can help them. Across everything you do, you'll go above and beyond to deliver a great customer experience - we pride ourselves on providing the very best in electricity and gas metering services. You'll also be provided with impressive training and development to fulfil your role.
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate should have experience of working with customers with excellent communication skills as you will be seen as an ambassador in the local community and the service you provide will be a positive lasting impression on the customer. You will have the ability to adapt to change as we continue to roll out one of the biggest changes the energy industry has seen and develop new solutions for our customers, which you'll be an advocate for. You'll be expected to plan your own workload in the most efficient way to meet timescales and our customers' needs.
You will be a lone worker who will be outdoors in all weathers on a daily basis and as the role is reasonably active and involves working within confined spaces, you'll need to be physically fit. You'll be provided with a branded van.
You'll be responsible for servicing customers within a set geographical location within CB1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 + CB21, 22, 23, 24, 25. Additional postcodes to extend coverage CB8, CB9, SG8, SG18, PE27, PE28, PE29, PE19 postcodes.
Please note you must also hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points and have a home telephone line for downloading your daily data.
What we'll offer you
Pay Rate: £7.63 per hour increasing to £9.88 an hour after 12 weeks and 28 days annual leave per annum pro rata for the first 12 weeks increasing to 34 days per annum thereafter
Hours: Full Time 37 hours fully flexible to work a 7.4 hour shift between 8am and 8pm Monday to Friday. You will be required to work a late shift every week and be available to cover appointments 1 Saturday every 8 weeks (when you work a Saturday you will get time off in the week).
Duration: You'll join on a temporary ongoing basis, with no anticipated end date, with the potential opportunity to progress and apply for permanent positions within the business.
