Product Design Engineer

As part of this diverse and challenging Engineering role, along with long term career prospects you will be given plenty of responsibility, including:

All aspects of design, including concept and design schemes; structural analysis and calculations; design in a 3D-modelling environment and production of manufacturing drawings. Consulting with managers and clients on design requirements, define specifications and bill of materials.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate the following: Educated to a HND / Degree level in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering subject

Demonstrable engineering design and development experience

Experienced with 3D/2D Design packages Solidworks, AutoCAD

Flexibility and knowledge to work across various disciplines and share your ideas a methodical approach to problem-solving

Attention to detail (be a closer/finisher)

Ability to work with minimal technical supervision

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Ability to use your experience and technical knowledge to create solutions to complex engineering problems within agreed timescales

Ability to cooperate with others in a cross-functional environment
