Commercial Sales Officer

Manpower is currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Sales Officer for a temporary assignment within West Sussex County Council. This role is to start as soon as possible and due to run for six months.

As a Commercial Sales Officer, duties will include reactive and proactive sales activity for roundabout sponsorship along with other specific commercial marketing projects. You will be required to work closely with various services particularly Highways to deliver best value collaborative activity. You will be required to negotiate customer sales, create sponsorship contracts and liaise with key stakeholders to keep the project moving smoothly. Local knowledge is an advantage but full training and support will be provided.

We're looking for an experienced sales person with good customer relationship skills, able to negotiate and deliver effective and efficient results. You will be required to update systems, spreadsheets and use other tools for the job. Knowledge of graphic design artwork is desirable.

The ideal candidate will need to be commercially astute, able to negotiate and work with contractors as well as having a keen eye for detail. An intermediate level of MS Office is required, specifically Excel.
