Job Details
An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation; our client is currently looking for a Luxury Goods Shopping Advisor based at their prestigious Boutique in Piccadilly Arcades, London. These are temporary roles for 3 months (possibility of extension) , working a 30 hour week over 4 days, paying £10.20 per hour, pro rata, depending on experience.
Background
Maille International is an exciting new business opportunity. The brand's iconic history gives it potential to become a premium every day luxury food brand - the growth will be achieved through stand-alone boutiques - building on the two highly successful French Boutiques. This will be supported by digital on-line shopping experience and international retail expansion, which is beginning in London.
The role is:
- As Maille ambassadors is to be educating customers through the fresh mustard experience and driving sales.
- To contribute to the performance of the boutique and Maille's premium image development
- To increase sales conversion to existing customers
- To always keep the boutique in a high standard of presentation to radiate the premium brand image of Maille
Major Responsibilities
Welcome, advise and sell to the customer following the Maille 'golden rules'
To manage the opening and end of day closure of the Maille boutique
Be responsible for receiving, booking and storage of stock deliveries
Refill sales floor countering ensuring perfect store presentation
Manage stock inventory ensuring stock ordering and stocktaking are effectively controlled.
Responsible for Boutique housekeeping and Visual Merchandising in line with Maille 'golden rules' e.g. labelling, storage, BBD rotation
To be proactive in engaging with members of the team to improve customer experience with ideas
Qualification/Skills/Experience
Retail/Catering/Hotel experience (1 to 2 years)
Be "Smart" Smile and Love Food
A welcoming host to our customers
Be proactive and approachable
Foreign Language is a plus but not essential
Proficient in Excel and Powerpoint
