This company is currently looking for a draughting electrical control panel Engineer on an ongoing contract.

The job role

The draughting engineer or electrical control panel designer must be competent in the design of LV switchgear using AutoCAD.

Preparation of general arrangement based on the company's type tested designs together with the client's single line diagrams and data sheets relevant to the project.

The preparation of these detail drawings will be liaised with the electrical project engineers for compliance.

The drawings will also be used for sheet metal manufacturing.

The skills

You will be a qualified draughting engineer who has exposure to the panel building industry.

You must be interested in understanding more about the design of LV switchgear systems.

Electrical control panel designers will also be considered for the role as their understanding will be adaptable to the ethos of the company.

Contract position, starting ASAP

Rate: £20- £30 per hour dependable on experience (PAYE, Limited or Umbrella)

Shifts: Days

Location: St Albans, but if you live in the following locations and would be happy to move for the role please also apply -Watford, Stevenage, Welwyn Garden City.
