Business Development Manager
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a leading manufacturing business based in Corby.
The role will be office based with the need to travel abroad on a regular basis to meet with potential and existing customers as required.
You will be responsible for the full sales cycle; identifying and contacting potential customers, understanding their needs, promoting products and services and closing the sale.
As Business Development Manager, your duties will include:
*Ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities are available
*Research overseas market to identify potential new clients/industries to supply
*Make contact with prospective clients to introduce, fact find and arrange visits
*Look after existing Customer base
*Travelling to visit various clients across Europe
*Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales
*Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators
*Track and record sales activity
Experience/Skills required
*B2B Sales experience is essential
*Bi-lingual is beneficial but not essential
*Good knowledge of engineering/manufacturing is beneficial
*Tenacious, driven and self-motivated
*Full Driving Licence Is essential
*Successful candidates must have a valid passport due to international travel
*Computer literate
*Excellent numeracy skills
*Well organised
*A go getter who wants to carve out a career in sales!

*Basic salary £25,000 - £30,000 (depending on experience) plus commission
