Reporting to Development Manager

Responsibilities Programming primarily in C# .NET and MS SQL Server 2008, the successful candidate will work on a range of development projects to add new feature functionality to the core platform and on specific client implementation projects. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, professional and must work well under pressure in a small team.

The Person The successful candidate will have experience working with similar technologies and will demonstrate an ability to contribute to a development team and a business's growth. As a small, rapidly growing organisation, all members of the team are expected to contribute to the overall success of the team in many ways and to get involved in all aspects of meeting the business and customer expectations. This may include periodically being 'on call' for our Production organisation to escalate technical issues to you.

Requirements

*Substantial development experience in C#, .Net and MS SQL Server
*WCF or Web Services more generally
*Working using secure coding standards
*HTML/CSS/XML/JavaScript/JQuery/Ajax/Flash

*Media Encoding and Streaming would be beneficial
*n-Tier development
*CDNs or Video experience generally would be beneficial
*Browser Compatibility issues
