Transport Logistics Planner

Are you immediately available and seeking a Transport Planning position based in Chipping Sodbury?

Do you possess advanced Excel skills and thrive in a busy yet friendly working environment. To be successful in your application you will ideally come from a background in transport, have the ability to pick things up quickly and have an excellent eye for detail.

The Logistic Planner is part of a small friendly team who is responsible for liaising with internal and external customers and processing orders onto the SAP system. You will be also responsible for booking all deliveries onto the Delivery Management System and optimising, planning and monitoring the deliveries on the day and making changes to ensure customers receive the required material.

This position is being offered on a full time basis with a 45 hour working week on a temporary to permanent basis

Some of your duties will include but not limited too.

Customer & Logistically focused with a working knowledge of drivers hours and the WTD.

Proven customer service experience and logistics experience.

Ability to prioritise and make decisions, with discretion

Excellent communicator and Team player at all levels, open minded.

Must be competent in MS office software suite especially excel.

Dealing with in depth administration
