Manpower UK are recruiting on behalf of a client who have a opportunity within their External Manufacturing Quality team in Milton Keynes for a Temporary Quality Assurance technician to perform activities relating to product complaint management for MSD AH products. This role will also require additional technical administration duties in support the of External Manufacturing Quality business.

The working hours for this role are: Monday to Friday, 37.5 per week. The client will offer a long term 12 month contract which can be extended and the rate of pay is: £10.49 to £17.79 depending on experience.

The successful applicant can either be a graduate with some industrial experience or alternatively be someone with a bit more experience who is looking to fit the role around school hours.

Key responsibilities:

The main duties of this role include:

  • Aid in the coordination of the complaint database used within External Manufacturing Quality.
  • Liaise with Contract manufacturing organisations (CMOs) to ensure timely closure of complaint records within the PV Works Complaint database system.
  • Review and approve documentation from contract manufacturing organisations relating to product quality complaints.
  • Maintain any required key performance indicators for Complaint Management for the External Manufacturing EMEA team.
  • Creation of Purchase Orders for the External Quality group, including the monitoring of spend in relation to audits completed by third parties.
  • Technical administration for the External Quality group which will include technical minute taking at meetings and resource management.

Post requirements/ Previous Experience

  • A graduate, or equivalent, with a science or engineering background
  • Experience of working with a high level of accuracy and efficiency is critical
  • Experience of cGMP and working within an external manufacturing management system would be a distinct advantage.
  • Problem solving and good communication skills.
  • Technical report writing and database management.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes desirable .
  • Basic administration skills.
  • Experience of using Microsoft software, such as; Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint etc.
