Are you a Marine Electrical Engineer looking for a new rewarding role? Would you like to gain qualifications at the same time? Would you like to play a vital role in the future of our Defence capabilities?

If the answer is yes then you will need to read on!

My client is a trusted partner of the defence community and is tasked with providing Electro Mechanical Training to the Royal Navy recruits at their Gosport based training facility.

Your main tasks will be to provide theoretical and practical Electrical Training to phase two recruits as part of their continuation training. The core subjects that you will be instructing on will be:
- Electrical/Electronic principals,
- Power and Distribution,
- High Voltage and Low Voltage system,
* Electrical Test Equipment,
* Soldering and Crimping techniques.

You will assist in the maintenance and development of the course to ensure top quality instruction at all times. You will also be responsible for coaching and developing students, providing feedback on performance and assessing coursework.
So who are they looking for? To succeed in this role you will have been directly employed in the Marine Electrical or Electronic engineering environment within the last 5 years. Ideally but not essential would be previous instructional experience in a military electrical and electronic environment. Academically you would hold a minimum of an ONC/BTEC L3 in a relevant subject matter.

If you do not already hold a Level 4 Teaching Qualification my client will provide accredited training for you upon successful interview.
